Hypo Hygienic Nerd

Thanks Chrysalis for letting me know the existence of this marvellous product.

I'm a Virgo and a typical Virgo should be very hygienic person, and yes I am a hygienic person in certain aspects.

I don't like the idea of walking to washroom and clean up my hand everytime I shaked a fellow hand or touched some "suspicious" surfaces. Too troublesome and not productive! The ideal will be having some sort of microwave driven or ultraviolet technology cleaning ray rotating in the office environment, sterilizing employees while they are working. No displacement of asses from their chairs.

One day, I saw a little magical bottle at my colleague workplace, to be precise Chrysalis' territory. Stole some elixir from the bottle, it is so easy and nice to use, I like it alot.

I passed by Guardian today and conveniently bought a 200ml and a 50ml Dettol Hand Sanitizer, one for outdoor usage, one for in house consumption, :)

And the best is 30% price discount from Guardian when you donated RM10 to Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign in the shop.

Eddie- You should try using a NON-ALCOHOL-based hand sanitizer..the product you are displaying, like all other alcohol-based hand sanitizers is likely to result in your having dry/irritated skin. Also, Alcohol-based gels will not work if your hands are dirty (alcohol does not penetrate dirt, although it will break up industrial floor wax). The stuff is flammable, and stops working within seconds after applying to your hands. Most Alcohol-free hand sanitizer products use an organic compound called Benzalkonium Chloride as the active ingredient--this has been widely used for years within a variety of health care antiseptic products. A very popular alcohol-free/rinse free product in the United States and Canada is called Soapopular. Not sure if you can purchase it in your area, but it can be purchased online at www.SoapyUSA.com . Its non-flammable, non-toxic and necessarily is effective against all of the same pathogens that alcohol-based products are, except the alcohol-free products have extended persistency (they remain active well after applying to the skin)...and you can apply to cuts/abrasions without worrying about stinging or burning sensation.

Yes, I do worried when I saw the warning sign "highly flammable" at the back of the bottle, I don't really dare to put the bottle near to my computer, :p

Berky, you being great help, I will look into buying one of the sanitizers you mentioned, but that would only happen only I finish up my 200ml and 50ml Dettol sanitizer I bought, *bang head*
